In the early 90s, a young group, far from the East Coast/West Coast war, started to make waves with demos, lives and freestyles in the cold Minneapolis, the first big act on a quite nonexistant rap scene.
Backed by Spawn who will leave the band afterwards, a not so confident MC shared his rage and his sincerity on the dirty and hypnotic beats of a Steven Seagal-looking DJ.
Overcast! is the first album of this legendary duo and also my Atmosphere‘s personal favorite.
