Quand j’ai vu produit par Q-Tip je me suis dit que ça allait être lourd, au final je trouve le beat mauvais et le son mal mixé… Pas une réussite et pas du tout le style de Danny Brown qui rame un peu, un retour mitigé.

C’est le 1er single du nouvel album de Danny Brown, uknowwhatimsayin, qui arrive le 4 octobre.

Q-Tip est producteur exécutif du projet et a apparemment joué un rôle très important dans la conception de l’album :

“Q-Tip wanted me to go back to that ‘Greatest Rapper Ever’ era. I almost had to relearn how to rap again—an ego death type thing. He gave me this whole new outlook on music. I can’t go back to how I was before. This is Q-Tip’s album. I can’t take no credit. I’m just an actor in his movie,” he continued. “Which was so much less stressful for me, working on albums and stuff. A lot of sleepless nights working on songs and stuff. Now, I ain’t have to worry about it. I had just had to show up and rap which made it back fun for me again.”
